Join us for Drawing from Within, an all levels adult studio art class to explore your creative gifts and gather insights of self…

The evening often begins with guided art and mediation exercises to awaken your creativity and draw inspiration from within…

Regina will then offer art presentations, demonstrations, and prompts to work through related art techniques and concepts. As you work, Regina will offer 1-on-1 guidance and feedback, if desired.

Come to follow along with the provided prompts, or delve into your own art practice while among community.

If it resonates with you, you will always have the opportunity at the end of class to share your work in a guided, non-judgmental group conversation…

Materials provided to borrow, bring your own favorite art/drawing materials, or purchase art kits  to use and keep (contact ahead for availability).

Regina Viqueira is a NJ-based artist, educator, and co-owner of With Intentions Holistic Studio. In her art practice, she often utilizes found, recycled, and reused materials, embracing considerations of access, consumerism, and environment. She is interested in aggrandizing the ubiquitous and exploring hybridity. As an educator, she is passionate about challenging a singular ethos of contemporary art by celebrating a spectrum of cultural contexts.

 

Regina Viqueira holds an MFA in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York, NY and a BA in Studio Art and Peace and Conflict Studies from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. She has exhibited work at the Philippine Embassy in Washington, DC, El Museo del Barrio in New York City, and PULSE Art Fair in Miami, among other spaces.
